UHDE has successfully delivered a Basic Engineering and Extended Basic Engineering package for a crude and vacuum distillation unit to Grupa LOTOS, Gdansk, Poland. The new CDU-VDU passed performance testing in May 2010.
As a parallel train to the existing crude distillation section, the project adds not only 4.5 Mio MTPA of capacity but provides much greater flexibility in the use of feedstock and enables the refinery to maintain production should one of the trains be in turnaround.
