Uhde is well known globally as a major technology supplier and contractor in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Uhde can also assist customers with the supply of technologies and plants for the processing of natural gas and refinery products to a wide range of related products including hydrogen, methanol, synthetic fuels, aromatics and olefins. In the refining industry Uhde can also provide some valuable niche technologies such as Morphysorb for acid gas removal. For upstream clients, Uhde has significant experience of the design of offshore modules, brownfield debottlenecking, the design of wellhead and process platforms, FPSO topsides and has completed many gas plant designs (including debottlenecking)

Uhde has dominated the complex process industries, for example building well over half of all the recently installed refining Clean Fuels projects. Via the Uhde Oil & Gas network, these highly developed technical skills are available globally.
Our value proposition is to provide outstanding technical skills, independent of where technology is sourced, and identify the needs of our customers and the solutions for those needs. We have the capability to apply our skills to develop non-licensed designs or we can acquire licensed technology for our customers and develop complete solutions.
Uhde then delivers these solutions for our customers via mature and proven project delivery. The same skill-set and experience is applied across the range of project contractual models and site locations, from LSTK of an Uhde-proprietary chemicals technology on a Greenfield site to EPCM of a non-licensed revamp of a Brownfield facility. Depending on the needs of the project, design is often developed in one of our several available high value engineering centres, and procurement is almost always from our global procurement network.
