Uhde develops and delivers technical solutions and projects for gas processing via the Service Values of Value Creation, Value Realisation, and Value Improvement. We have expertise and experience in conceptual development studies and technology selection for revamping of deep NGL/LPG extraction gas process plants. We have developed novel in-house solutions for mitigation of BTEX emissions from glycol regenerators. We have provided Front End and detailed design services for grassroots & brownfields gas processing facilities from simple J-T gas conditioning units through to turbo-expander NGL/LPG recovery facilities.
We have designed for stringent environmental conditions in sensitive locations, including wet lands treatment of produced water, treated water irrigation onto plantations to minimise discharge to local waterways, plantation trees to enhance off-site visual amenity, flare minimisation and shielded ground flares for reduced luminosity, noise modelling and shielding to reduce off-site background
noise levels.
Our solutions pro-actively incorporate sustainability considerations for our clients to consider and choose. These include such issues as optimisation of project life-cycle cost considering selection and staging of compression requirements, and driver selection considering energy and power costs, GHG impacts, and possibilities for energy integration and cogeneration based on gas turbine driver exhaust.
Uhde’s services also extend through Realisation to Improvement. We support project delivery by providing construction management and commissioning support for start-up and training of plant personnel. We have provided secondments of skilled personnel to assist start-up and troubleshooting of plants provided by both our own projects and also those of others. We are available to assist with optimisation of on-going operations. This can result in identification of economical plant modifications and revamps, which we would then offer to deliver.
